“The only real stumbling block is fear of failure. ….You’ve got to have a what-the-hell attitude.”

-Julia Child

It’s true, isn’t it? And what’s worst than that, is rationaling your fears. Fear. Why do we let it rule our life? We mistake fear for “being responsible”. There are of course, things that you must think about in life; choices that are made, should always be thought through first.

“The problem is you think too much”

This is what I tell my husband sometimes. You know we have our goals and things that we wish to reach, and what happens is that we inundate ourselves with fears masqueraded by rational thinking.

What would have happened had Frida Kahlo thought rationally?

Sometimes in life, a bit of impulse goes a long way.

Throw your fears out the window. When thinking of your goals and dreams, and those silly thoughts of “realitiy” come to mind, think about something: is this fear or reality?

Fear is silly. It is the one thing that will hinder you from becoming the person you want to become.

Don’t block yourself from becoming yourself. It’s not about overcoming your fears. It’s about not entertaining them in the first place.

You know?
