“Reach high, for stars lie hidden in your soul. Dream deep, for every dream precedes the goal.”
-Pamela Vaull Starr
It may seem like I am stating the obvious here, but in order to REACH your dreams, you must be willing to dream about it. It’s not enough to just say that you’d wish to become your dreams, without obviously knowing what these dreams are in the first place.
I posted a picture today, of my daughter laughing, because we always think of it as childish to daydream and have our “head in the clouds”, don’t we?
I’ve said before that you can do anything you want and you can. But daydream about it. Talk about it. Visualize it. It’s okay to talk about it. It’s okay to dream, and wish and hope. So long as you work for it also, it is just fine to daydream.
No wallowing. No feeling sorry for yourself. No excuses. Make yourself a priority, and do it.
Today, sit at your desk and write in your journal. Without constricting yourself, day dream about what you wish to become, or what you would love to see your life turn out to be, in say….10 or 15 years. Don’t think that it can’t happen because it can.
Do as James De La Vega says, and “become your dream”. And be willing to dream. It’s fun to day dream. So go ahead-dare to daydream.
