Day 129: Make Some Baby Announcements

Quote:

“This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness. ”

The thing is, we all complain about what things we wish to see in the world around us. We long to see a happier world, where employers are kind hearted, and people think of others first.

The Buddha said that all that we have is a result of all that we have thought. What does that mean? That means that we are the kindness in the world, or the unkindness. We are the rudeness that we see around us, the uncaring, the insensitive employer that forgets what it was like to be a bean counter.

Think of others first. Be kind to others. Try it, and see how the world around you will evolve.

Today’s creative endeavor is a set of baby announcement cards.

I made a baby girl theme, and a baby boy theme.

It’s rather easy to make. The stamp set is from Papertrey Ink. Copic markers were used, of course. And a ribbon, from my ribbon stash. I must say that tying the perfect ribbon is rather annoying.  The baby onsie is glued on with dimensional stickers.

What else? That’s it, really. It’s easy to make!

These cards are available for sale in a set of 10 (custom made & printed) in my etsy boutique.
