Day 46: A Little Boy’s Baby Book
“Each of us in our own way can try to spread compassion into people’s hearts. Western civilizations these days place great importance on filling the human ‘brain’ with knowledge, but no one seems to care about filling the human ‘heart’ with compassion. “
So how do we spread compassion to others? Hmmm….compassion. Right. It’s hard sometimes to even think about what compassion is in the first place, much less to spread it to someone.
Living in the city, it becomes so frenzied.
At first you know, you come here and you really have these bright eyes and wild expectations about yourself and your future…
But the city can get to you. It’s grey here, you know? The solution really is to either decide you love the city, and won’t ever leave, or just get out. I mean, don’t stay here disgruntled. Not if you don’t have to. And when you feel disgruntled, try showing compassion to someone. Try actually getting up for someone on the train. Or helping a lady with a stroller. Help someone. And don’t expect someone to help you back. Perhaps that’s compassion, hmm?
So for today’s craft endeavor, I made a baby book for a little boy, with a matching card. This one is the card.
Cute, right? It’s a simple project.
This book is for sale, of course, in my shop.
