Day 45: Pretty Paper Flowers
“Responsibility does not only lie with the leaders of our countries or with those who have been appointed or elected to do a particular job. It lies with each of us individually. Peace, for example, starts within each one of us. When we have inner peace, we can be at peace with those around us. When our community is in a state of peace, it can share that peace with neighboring communities, and so on.”
Inner peace comes from our core, from who we are. If we want peace around us, and in our home, we need to de clutter our mind and our lives, and find the peace within ourselves. The way we treat ourselves is the way others will treat us. It’s a chain reaction.
Inner peace is what we sometimes strive for our whole lives. But it’s easy. Just let go. De Clutter. Simplify. Do these things, and you’re on your way to inner peace. I don’t say you’ll be there because frankly, only you can say what else you will need.
For today’s crafty endeavor, I kept it simple, and made these cute little flower embellishments.
They are hand cut, sanded and glittered, and ready to embellish someone’s art. They are for sale, of course, in my shop.
